The food we serve in our house
is the result of a longstanding family tradition: all the recipes for
our local dishes are taken from Grandma Hanna Perwanger's very own recipe
collection, called "Südtiroler Leibgerichte".
They are prepared exclusively with ingredients provided by our local farmers,
and herbs and spices from our own garden. Why not try out one of our recipes
yourselves?

The typical South Tyrolean
cuisine straddles the traditional
Italian as well the Autrian cuisine.
Our plentiful breakfast buffet includes several kinds of traditional local
bread, yogurt with fresh fruit, homemade cakes and a lot more. Dinner
starts wit a healthy salad buffet, followed by the main course and dessert.

In the afternoons, we are happy
to serve on our sun terrace or in the garden a wide range of homemade
cakes and Strudel, or a traditional savoury platter of Speck (traditional
cured ham), Kaminwurzen (traditional cured sausages) and Schüttelbrot
(thin crunchy bread).
In the summer you can also enjoy lovely picnics and evening barbecues
in the garden.
And then we let those long days draw to an end in front of the fireplace
with a beautiful glass of wine from our cellars - that's our idea of a
fine time.
